Tabitha Glenn, MBA is the driving force behind TPG Group. TPG stands for Teaching. Purpose. Growth. which happens to be Tabitha’s passions and her initials.
Tabitha built and led innovative teams at ALSAC/St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, the Junior League of Memphis, and the Peer Power Foundation.
Tabitha served as CEO of Peer Power, an education foundation dedicated to providing students high-dosage tutoring inside the classroom. During her time as CEO, Tabitha doubled the size of the organizations tutoring services from 8,000 students to more than 15,000 students. She also evolved and diversified the organization’s revenue model to include a statewide training program for tutors, a teacher training program, and the Peer Power Fellows program in partnership with the University of Memphis.
As Executive Director at ALSAC/St. Jude, Tabitha led a team of 64 fundraisers to create direct marketing strategies that raised more than $740 million in yearly revenues. She served on ALSAC’s senior leadership team to help drive long-range planning and strategic direction for the organization while being responsible for the strategy, development, and implementation of 126,00 television airings, 258 million mail pieces, and 200 million emails, designed to drive donor acquisition, retention, stewardship, and reactivation.
In 2020-2022, Tabitha served as President of the Junior League of Memphis (JLM), an inclusive organization of 1,400 women dedicated to developing their potential as community and civic leaders. In this volunteer role, Tabitha was responsible for the strategic direction, fundraising, and oversight of 5 employees for JLM. She also led the JLM Repeat Boutique thrift store to a 233% increase in revenues by generating more than $330,000 in yearly sales.
Tabitha received her bachelor’s degree from Arkansas State University in communications and advertising and her Executive Master of Business Administration from the University of Memphis.
She was also recognized by Nonprofit Pro magazine as the 2018 Fundraiser of the Year and as a 2022 Woman of Impact by the American Heart Association.
In partnership with her husband, Tabitha recently finished building and designing her dream home in east Tennessee where she discovered her passion for design and organization.
